Course Overview

This Accredited National Qualification is intended for junior managers of small organisations, junior managers of business units in medium and large organisations, or those aspiring to these positions. Junior managers include team leaders, supervisors, foremen and section heads. The learners who achieve this qualification will be able to demonstrate competencies in management relating to Planning, Organising, Leading, Controlling and Ethics.

  • Overall, this qualification will ensure that learners are capable of:

    • Developing plans to achieve defined objectives.
    • Organising resources in accordance with a developed plan.
    • Leading a team to work co-operatively to achieve objectives.
    • Monitoring performance to ensure compliance to a plan.
    • Making decisions based on a code of ethics.

Study PLUS Course Material

All learning materials are available on an interactive online platform. A fusion of traditional textbook and an online course. Various multimedia options are contained on the portal, include videos, interactive digital activities, and quizzes. The online platform will have all the required study materials and information, to study towards your exam.

Assessment and Award

This qualification will be assessed by means of 8 Summative Assessments and one written Centralised Final Integrated Summative Assessment. Students must have achieved a competent grade in all 8 Modules before they
may attempt the written Centralised Final Integrated Summative Assessment. Exam venues are available in all major South African cities (please contact us for specific venues and dates). Fees for the Centralised Final Integrated
Summative Assessment are not covered within the course fee. The current SABPP fee is R1,350 and is subject to change. A minimum mark of 65% is required before the Certificate can be awarded

Entry Requirements

Student taking this course will have access to a computer, internet connectivity and data to study this course online.

Students taking this course do not require any accounting knowledge before starting this qualification.

Students will require a computer with Windows 7, 8 or 10 for this course.
