Course Overview

The skill set facilitates practical and effective navigation of Facebook and Twitter. It further assists the user to understand and manage security, Search Engine Optimization SEO, Social Media integration and social media Analytics associated with each of these platforms.

During this course, students will cover the following units:

  • Unit 1: The Rise of Social Media
  • Unit 2: Facebook
  • Unit 3: Twitter

Study period: up to 6 months   

Assessment and Award

Students will have to successfully complete knowledge-based assessments and summative activities on successful completion of this, students will receive an Academy of York Introduction to social media Short Course Skills Certificate.
