This Academy of York Short Course was designed to prepare students for the workplace. This course will assist a student with the necessary skills to prepare their CV, search for employment and prepare for interviews.
During this course, students will cover the following units:
- Unit 1: The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Global realities
- Unit 2: The Fourth Industrial Revolution: South African realities
- Unit 3: Navigating the 21st-century workplace
- Unit 4: Getting the job

Assessment and Award
Students will have to successfully complete knowledge-based assessments and summative activities On successful completion of this, students will receive an Academy of York Professional Skills for the Fourth Industrial Revolution 1 Short Course Skills Certificate
Student taking this course will need to have access to a computer and internet connectivity to study this course online.
