Course Description:

This accredited National Qualification is designed for junior managers of small organisations, business units in medium and large organisations, or those aspiring to such roles, including team leaders, supervisors, foremen, and section heads. Graduates will demonstrate competencies in planning, organising, leading, controlling, and ethics. They will be capable of developing plans to achieve objectives, organising resources according to these plans, leading teams to work cooperatively towards goals, monitoring performance for compliance, and making decisions based on ethical standards.

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for the course are flexible, accommodating a wide range of educational backgrounds and experiences. However, proficiency in English and mathematical literacy is essential.

Assessments

Students will complete a summative assessment for each of the modules. Students who have successfully completed all the summative assessments will gain entry to the final examination or Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA). The FISA is conducted at approved examination centres available in all major South African cities (please note that additional examination fees apply).

There are no work experience requirements for this course.

Awards

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded the Further education and Training Certificate: Generic Management: Human Resource Support (SAQA ID 57712, LP ID 93950, NQF Level 4, 150 credits).
